New Universal PCI Relay DI Card Released by Advantech

The new PCI-1760U launched today is a fresh initiative from Advantech to offer an array of features on a digital input relay card.

Universal PCI is used to cater for both 5 and 3.3 V systems, and the 8 optically isolated digital inputs with isolation protection up to 2,500 VDC makes it unproblematic to collect digital signals in noisy environments. Also available is 8 relay actuators that can be used as an on/off control devices or small power switches, and 2 isolated PWM outputs for custom applications.

The PCI-1760U comes with a convenient function that was developed at Advantech. The BoardID™ switch removes common installation problems when using several I/O cards in the same system. With a built-in DIP switch, each card is given a unique identifier. This identifier is recognized by the OS so that you can easily match the physical card with its software representation. BoardID™ switches makes installation a breeze.

In addition to common relay card functions, the PCI-1760U also supports: Pattern Match, Change of State, Channel Freeze, Output Status Read Back and Dry/Wet Contact.

Advantech believes the unusual PCI-1760U can ignite innovative solutions for industrial applications such as signal switching, external relay driving, contact status monitoring and much more. PCI-1760U will be available in mid-July.
