Advantech announced today the launch of PCI-1620AU, an 8-port RS-232 Universal PCI communication card. With support for both 3.3 and 5 V systems, and Plug & Play - the card is easily installed, and it also features an UART with 128 byte FIFO, to avoid heavy loading of the system.
