Two new wireless gateway modules from Advantech provide a quick and low-cost method for connecting RS-232/422/485 devices to an 802.11b wireless LAN. The new ADAM-4570W has two serial ports, while ADAM-4571W has one serial port. The easily adjustable wireless LAN antenna ensures uninterrupted communication in harsh environments.

Advantech extends its Flat Panel Monitor (FPM) series with the new economical FPM-2150GB, an industrial-grade 15" flat panel monitor with VGA port. The features of FPM-2150GB are simplified to better meet market requirements. Therefore FPM-2150GB can save costs of up to $165, but still keep the main features of the earlier FPM-2150GA, such as a thin and light design, and many industrial-grade features.

Advantech has launched three wireless LAN Digital I/O modules for the ADAM-6000W series. Equipped with a new and improved embedded web page, they simplify the setup of the remotely accessed web page. With different combinations of DI/O, counter, and pulse outputs, ADAM-6050W, ADAM-6051W, ADAM-6060W can meet diverse applications.

Advantech is pleased to launch the latest extension to its family of PCI communication cards, PCI-1610AUP, a 4-port RS-232 Universal PCI Low Profile communication card. PCI-1610AUP has the Low Profile PCI MD1 form factor. This means it has the same protocol and electronic definition as standard PCI, but is only 119.91 x 64.41 mm (4.7" x 2.5") !!
