Advantech announced today the launch of PCI-1601AU and PCI-1601BU, which are 2-port RS-422/485 Universal PCI communication cards. The cards come with support for both 3.3 and 5 V signal systems with their universal PCI interface, and PCI-1601BU also provides surge protection for more rugged environments. Both cards are suitable for multitasking environments with their 128-byte FIFO.

Advantech has announced the coming release of ADAM-4019+, which is an 8-channel Universal Analog Input Module. The new module improves over its predecessor ADAM-4019, with a 4~20 mA input range, and a burnout detection function.The major feature of ADAM-4019+ is its mixed input range design. This feature supports individual configuration for each channel to save costs and space in applications.

Advantech today introduced the newest member to its family of data acquisition cards. PCI-1741U is a 16-ch, 16-bit, 200 kS/s multi-function DAQ card with a universal PCI interface. PCI-1741U features more flexible configuration for analog input, 16 single-ended or 8 different analog input channels, one 16-bit D/A output channel, 16 digital input/output channels, and one 10 MHz 16-bit counter.
