  Question : What's the best way to find open positions?  
  Answer : Use the Search Jobs page to select criteria that will pinpoint the positions that may be right for you. The search results page will show all open positions that match your criteria — click the job titles for detailed descriptions. Also, save your search as my favorite for further reviewing.  
 
  Question : Can I submit my resume online?  
  Answer : There are several ways to send your resume to Advantech: visit the Resume page for instructions. Your options include: creating a resume with the site's resume builder, pasting your existing resume into the site, or sending in resumes via e-mail or conventional mail. Note that submitting your "my profile " online posts it directly to our database, allowing recruiters to reference your skills when appropriate positions become available.  
 
  Question : What is the best way to send my resume to Advantech?  
  Answer : The best way to send your resume to Advantech is to use my profile builder. This tool ensures you provide all the information Advantech recruiters need when searching for qualified candidates. Also, save your resume here for future updates and then send it to future job openings.  
 
  Question : How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from Advantech?  
  Answer : Your resume is promptly entered into our resume database and made available to recruiters who specialize in the areas matching your skills, strengths, and areas of interest. A recruiter may contact you if an open position matches your skills and background. Your resume will remain active in our database for up to half an year and will be considered for future positions.  
 
  Question : Can I apply for more than one position at one time?  
  Answer : Yes, but you need to provide your desired jobs by preference order.  
 
  Question : Can I apply for jobs in other countries?  
  Answer : If you are interested in opportunities in one of our other offices, you may use this link to explore the diverse options on offer to you.  
 
  Question : Where are the jobs based?  
  Answer : The main location is Taipei with some opportunities in other offices. As business needs expand, if you are in sales & marketing team, may need to travel occasionally.  
 
  Question : Does Advantech have non Technical positions available?  
  Answer : Yes, we do offer lots of non-technical positions in different business functions. Advantech is able to offer a wide variety of job opportunities and we would encourage you to apply if you have the necessary skills and attitude to pursue.  
 
  Question : What should I prepare prior to applying to Advantech?  
  Answer : Before starting the application process make sure you have a copy of your resumé/CV with you in order to provide all the information required.  
 
  Question : Can I submit an attached file of my resume / CV?  
  Answer : Yes, you can submit your resume/CV at your convenience.  
 
  Question : Do I need to answer all the questions that are part of the application to a job?  
  Answer : It is beneficial to you to provide complete information, including answering all the questions. The more information you can provide on your application, the easier it will be for recruiters to assess your qualifications for their position/s.
But the fields with marked an asterisk (*) are required.
 
 
  Question : How long will my application remain active in the database?  
  Answer : For 6 months from the date of the last activity. However we encourage you to update your profile on a regular basis.  
 
  Question : After having applied online how can I contact the hiring recruiter?  
  Answer : If you have applied to a specific job, your application will be reviewed by the recruiter.
If you have submitted a candidate profile, recruiters can search the database for your resume and will contact you if your qualifications match an existing position.

As we have a team of recruiters that work on a number of job vacancies at anytime, it is not feasible for Advantech to provide the name, telephone number or e-mail address of the recruiter. If your profile is appropriate for the job vacancy, the recruiter will contact you directly
 
 
  Question : If I change my email address, should I create a new account with my new email address?  
  Answer : No, the system allows you to update and change your email address once you’ve logged on to your existing account. Please log on to your existing profile and locate the email address field in the personal information section. Changing your email here will also change the email address you use to log in. Please do NOT create multiple login accounts as this may delay the hiring process
