In the previous article of this series we covered the basic system management aspects and architecture of MicroTCA. In this second article we will explain the basic processes of the start up of a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) using the example of the insertion of an AMC module aka Advanced Mezzanine Card into a MicroTCA chassis.
